It's a Beautiful Day!

Just a quick post today.  After using the Stardreams paper on my last project, I decided I should finally use this wonderful Magnolia Butterfly along with some DooHickey die cut flowers.

Diana has also just put into her inventory some fabulous new Poppy Stamps and Memory Box dies along with some of the new DooHickey, so be sure to check them out at Magnolia-licious!

I've used:
#416 LARGE BUTTERFLY
#4 LEAF AND SWIRL DOOHICKEY DIE
#36 VINTAGE DAISIES DOOHICKEY DIES
#47 SPRUCE SPRIG DOOHICKEY DIE
#65 SUMMER FOLIAGE DOOHICKEY DIE  This is a brand new die and isn't the one I used, but would work perfectly

Have also used a Spellbinders label die, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Promarkers and an Inkadinkadoo stamp.

All for now!  Thanks for stopping by and enjoy every day!!!

Lacy Flowers for the Wedding

Hope you are enjoying the Magnolia-licious Highlites Hop for June with a Wedding theme.  Haven't they been awesome projects!!!!  If you are following along the hop, you would have come from Barb Hardeman's Stampelicious blog.  Don't ya just love her candle!!!
I have this card made with all the wonderful Magnolia DooHickey dies that I love from Magnolia-licious.  My favorite online store for the best prices and selections of all things Magnolia and more!  Really nice people too!!!  Dies happen to be my latest, well one of my latest addictions lately and Diana is carrying some other fantastic dies like Poppystamps and Memory Box too!
Here are the wonderful DooHickey Dies and the links:
I see a couple of the dies are out of stock at the moment, but there are many to choose from that will work just as well or even better!
Found this lovely little gift box in my stash from a long time ago.  Don't even remember where I got it.  Frank's Nursery and Crafts????  They are long gone!  Figured it was about time I used it and it just cried out for flowers on top of it!
I've run the Peony Petals thru the Cuttlebug with the dotted embossing folder.  Used a Cheery Lynn lattice die in the background and did a little coloring with Promarkers on the flowers, leaves and butterfly.  The word stamp is an old Stampendous stamp.  Added a few half pearls.  Can't see any Tilda's or Edwins on the outside, but maybe, just maybe they are hiding inside!!!  :)

You will want to head over to Ruby Montes, And That's All She Wrote blog.  Now she knows how to put some color into things!!!!  Truly amazing work!!!
Hope you will join the challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites.  That generous Diana has offered another terrific prize!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy every day!!!

Hobbie the Bear times FOUR

Hobbie the Bear times FOUR!!!  After that last little project with him, my mind started thinking about the patchwork stuffed bears I use to make and thought how fun would he be in printed paper!!!  So you can see, I had to try a variety!!!
So it was easy to make Hobbie a cute little girl bear by adding some flowers, hearts and some lace!
#407 HOBBIE THE BEAR
#20 ROMANTIC LACE BORDER DOOHICKEY DIE
#34 WILD STRAWBERRY AND FLOWERS DOOHICKEY DIES - Little Flower
#17 SNOWFLAKE AND MISTLETOE DOOHICKEY DIES - Leaves
Isn't Hobbie the cutest peeking through the window?!!!  I used the Memory Box window die with the mini scallop die in 3 layers for the "curtain" and the wainscoting was made by making score lines with the Scor-Pal and then adding little strips of paper to the bottom and top.  The clouds I hand cut because I didn't have the new #55 ROUND TALK/THOUGHT BUBBLE DOOHICKEY DIES, but those would have worked perfectly for this.  Love when something can be used for more than one purpose.  Yup, it's now on my order!!!
#407 HOBBIE THE BEAR
#19 MINI ZIG ZAG AND SCALLOP DOOHICKEY DIES
#816 SMALL MADISON WINDOW POPPYSTAMP DIE
Now this Hobbie I added some water color shading with distress inks to give him some dimension.  The Magnolia Papers can handle a little water coloring on them, or you could use chalk too!
#407 HOBBIE THE BEAR
Then I had to make something fun and easy by using checks and stars!  This one I also did a little water color shading with distress inks.
#407 HOBBIE THE BEAR

These were kind of like potato chips....one isn't going to do it!!!!  :)

I've heard from a few people that they think Hobbie looks like a dog too, so we certainly can use that to our advantage because he is soooo cute whatever animal he/she is!!!!

Please find all your Magnolia products HERE at Magnolia-licious!  Diana has a fantastic selection of Magnolia and other terrific goodies.  Who doesn't love a good deal and working with good people!!!  I'm a shopper and Diana does have the best deals around with her discounts and store credit program.  I'm also lovin' the other brands of dies she has added to the Magnolia DooHickey dies AND just discovered she has added some new DooHickey dies too!!!  More for my order!!!!  :)

Keep an eye out for the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog Hop on Monday, June 18th.  The team has been working on some wonderful projects for our theme.  Hmmmm, wonder if I should use Hobbie???  Please check back and see!!!!  :)

Hobbie the Bear

Oh, I thought Hobbie was such a cutie!!!  He just arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to put him on something!!!  I happened to have a little frame kit sitting out and thought he would be perfect to peek out the frame/window!  He is colored with Shinhan Touch Markers.  I added a piece of paper from the Magnolia Mini Wedding Collection pack inside the frame, added a ribbon, a few flowers, a welcome baby (SU) circle and a darling silver baby bottle charm.  Thank you Paola for the charm, yes, I used it right away......perfect timing!!!!

#407 Hobbie the Bear is available right now at Magnolia-licious, but hurry because he seems to run out of stock quickly!!!!  I can understand why, he is soooo precious!!!!

Enjoy every day and thanks so much for the comments and stopping by!!!  It is such wonderful encouragement and I so appreciate it!!!!
