For the Boys

Seems like it is harder to come up with cards for the guys!  This is one of my favorite Edwin's!!!  Cool Edwin!  Decided to give him a Charlie Brownish type shirt!  This card is for the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge.......a Boy card!!!

Used three of the minis from Magnolia-licious:
I've colored with Promarkers and added some chalk for the clouds and ground.  The gears are a Sizzlet Die and the word stamp is Stampin' Up.  Added some brads and used a corner shape punch.  Distressed the edges a little on the green card stock too.

You'll find so many other wonderful products to chose from Magnolia-licious and check out the special pricing and credits you also get.  Diana always has something terrific for us!!!

Hope you will join in on the challenge!  Not only will you get a guy card done, you will have a chance at a great prize!  Go HERE for all the details at the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog!

Appreciate you stopping by!  Enjoy every day!

Singing Tilda at the Keyboard

At the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog on Mondays, we are going to be having Mini Monday!  So every week, you'll get a chance to see some new cards made by the gals on the design team for Magnolia-licious using the minis!!   Since I have a husband that is a classic rock musician and plays the keys, I thought making a key board card would be fun!  The mini Singing Tilda was the perfect size to add to the keys!

You can find MINI 3052 SINGING TILDA at Magnolia-licious.  She is colored with Promarkers.

I've kept this card very simple as you can see.  I've used the Spellbinders oval dies to cut out Tilda.  The keys are just strips that I corner rounded.  (1/2" wide for the white keys, 1/4" wide for the black)  For the inside, I kept it even simpler, but added the  MB 131 VIRTUOSO MUSIC DIE cut.  The word stamps are Just A Little Note by Stampendous and the Happy Birthday by DeNami.
Click HERE for the list of all the mini stamps.  There are so many images that are perfect for that special occasion or special person!  Find out how you can get an extra discount on mini's on Mondays at the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog.

Diana is also offering at an exceptional price.... the Mini Storage Binders!  A fantastic way to store the minis and find them easily!  Click HERE to go directly to the binders.  I don't know what I would do without them!

Thanks for stopping by and hope this has given an idea for making your own card using the mini Magnolia stamps!

Enjoy every day!

Tilda with Cute Skirt Birthday Card

A new challenge with a great new combined Design Team for Magnolia-licious!  Sure is an honor to be working with all these talented gals!!!  Our first challenge is using a Magnolia Stamp and make a birthday card!  Who doesn't need birthday cards!!!    Diana is now carrying Wee Stamps and I can't wait to get started on those too!  You'll want to check them out because she is offering a limited time discount on them.

For this card, I got to use some of the new Memory Box dies!  What a wonderful assortment of those and other dies....can't get enough of them!!!  My addiction for punches has transferred over to dies now!!!!  :)  Check them all out HERE!

Here is what I've used from Magnolia-licious on my card:
210 TILDA WITH CUTE SKIRT
MB 11 CHESAPEAKE CIRCLE DIE
MB 200 FRESH FOLIAGE DIE
MB 207 FABULOUS PHLOX DIE

These dies cut beautifully even with the fine lines.  A Quickie Glue Pen works great for gluing the die cuts with the fine lines.  Since it is a two-way glue, I let it dry some before trying to adhere, so it doesn't smear.    I only used two sizes of the phlox flowers on this card.  There are actually 3 sizes in the set along with some leafy branches too.  Another die I am anxious to work with more is the MB 206 LOVELY ASTER DIES (6 pieces).  They make a gorgeous flower, so stay tuned!

Speaking of flowers, I used the Best Glue Ever to assemble my flowers now and love it!  All it takes is a teeny amount and it dries quickly.  Also will not warp the paper if you like to glue your card layers together.

The Chesapeake Circle die cut is backed by round circles and Tilda is water colored with Distress Inks.  The paper was from my stash that I bought a while ago.

Diana offers great deals and a wonderful assortment of products!  You can see all of the specials HERE at Magnolia-licious.  Great products, great service and really nice people to work with besides!!!

Please join us in the challenge!  You will find all the details at the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge Blog.  You can join and have a chance to win a great surprise from Diana too! She is always soooo generous!!!

So glad you could stop by!  Enjoy every day!

Valentine's Tilda with Wrapped Heart

Just a real quick posting, but since Valentine's Day is pretty soon and I thought I would make one with this cutie Tilda and the heartflowers.  They are colored with Promarkers and I used some paper from my stash.

Find these at Diana's awesome Magnolia-licious store:
3074 TILDA WITH WRAPPED HEART
MINI 545 TILDA'S HEARTFLOWERS

This heartflower stamp is the mini.  The regular size stamp is much larger.  Even though this is the mini, I thought it was a good size to go with the regular size Tilda.  Used an embossing folder in the background and have added a SU sentiment on the label punch and grosgrain ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy every day!!!
